Principal McVicker is one of the most prominent antagonists of the series. He is the principal of Highland High and a frequent victim of Beavis and Butthead's pranks.
McVicker is known for constantly trembling and stuttering out of anxiety. He has become such a nervous wreck that he'shardly suited to his office. Arguably, he is Beavis and Butt-head's arch-nemesis and hates the duo with a passion; at times, becoming so shakey and upset over their antics and his inevitably futile attempts to punish them, that he has to take pills or drink alcohol to calm himself down. Many episodes begin with Beavis and Butt-head in his office.
Because both Beavis and Butt-head always make fun of him, they refer to him as "McDicker."
The duo unintentionally ruined McVicker's life and drove him to the edge of insanity in Breakdown. It is also revealed that he has a family in the Christmas Special.
In the Season 7 finale, Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead, upon hearing the news of Beavis and Butt-head's "deaths", he stopped trembling and stuttering for the first time and celebrated their "deaths" by putting on the "Ricky Martin's Cup of Life." When they later showed up to their own memorial services, very much alive, he suffered a heart attack. For 14 years, it was unknown if the heart attack was fatal or if he survived, but he has since appeared in the Season 8 episode, Dumb Design, proving the latter to be the case.
In Beavis and Butt-head Do America, he expels the duo, although they come back to school in the later episodes (probably by saving America, the government were able to get them back into school). The boys catch him with a prostitute—possibly indicating that he's cheating on his wife, or possibly him and his wife were divorced because his constant anxiety—and the ATF accuses him for harboring two criminal masterminds, Beavis and Butt-head.
McVicker is voiced by Mike Judge.

- McVicker was inspired by a band teacher that his voice actor Mike Judge knew in 9th Grade. Judge said that the teacher trembled and "always smelled like alcohol".
- In "No Laughing," his name was spelt as "McVicar".
- He never seems to notice that Beavis and Butthead are attendants/cooks at the drive-through.
