Beavis and Butt-head see Todd arguing with a man about money that Todd owes. Todd does not have the money, but the man still demands it, so Todd beats the man up and gets on his motorcycle, leaving Beavis and Butt-head in awe. Later, the two are still talking about how it cool it was. Suddenly, Todd bursts through their front door on his motorcycle and tells the two of them that he's being charged with assault. As they start fawning over him (as usual), he strangles them and explains that since they were the only witnesses, then they will have to go to court, and he says to tell anyone who asks that what he did was in self-defense. Beavis and Butt-head agree to lie for Todd. Later, in the courtroom, Beavis and Butt-head say that it was in self-defense, but they still say that Todd hit the man first because they thought it was cool, not understanding that this makes Todd the instigator. Todd is furious, but he cannot do anything to make the boys stop talking. Later, outside Maxi-Mart again, Todd and his gang approach Beavis and Butt-head in Todd's truck. Todd says that the charges against him were dropped because the judge deemed Beavis and Butt-head too stupid to be credible witnesses. He "thanks" them for getting them off the hook by shoving them in his trunk and taking them for a drive.
The episode references two past episodes when Beavis and Butt-head were asked if it was true that they had once played a baseball game where they substituted a frog for the ball, and that they had repeatedly the 7th grade, the 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and finally, kindergarten, before the elementary school gave up and reluctantly let the boys be freshmen again. This episode reveals that the show has its own continuity, despite a fifteen-year technological gap between "Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead" and Werewolves of Highland.
The episode also mentions the episode Candy Sale when Beavis lent Butt-Head two dollars and Butt-Head lent Beavis two dollars
Leroy and one of his gang members was seen with Todd in this episode. This probably means that he and Todd decided to end their rivalry and team up.
