David Van Driesen is a hippie teacher at Highland High School where Beavis and Butthead go. He is constantly urging the students to use their feelings when giving out assignments and to "wow" him. He doesn't believe in violence and wants everyone to get along which is why he doesn't like Mr. Buzzcut,the physical education teacher. He has a very militant attitude. He is possibly the only person besides Daria who doesn't seem annoyed when talking to them. He wears a t-shirt with the peace symbol on it and has long brown hair.
